Are We Alone? #7 Why Won't They Tell Us?

"Censorship reflects a society's lack of confidence in itself. It is the landmark of an authoritarian regime.... " Justice Potter Stewart

So, ok. Why won't they tell us the truth? Why is the government censoring all reports of the sightings of visitors. Why have all branches of the military made it a crime to discuss UFO information with unauthorized persons. Do they really think that we are frightened cattle that will panic and stampede? Are they afraid of losing some control? What if we the people started to believe that there was a power greater than our great wise leaders in Washington? Do our leaders think that we are ignorant peasants and that they are the aristocracy?

For decades we the people have been subjected to extreme censorship and bombarded with propaganda aimed at belittling and ridiculing anyone who claimed to have seen "little green men." There are stories of professional pilots whose careers have been destroyed by charges of intoxication or hallucinations on the job, only because they insisted that they had seen unidentified flying crafts. The government needed to send a message and soon the word got around that you needed to keep your mouth shut if you wanted to keep your job. This is the sort of censorship that existed under the Soviet domination of Russia and the control that despots and dictators have always wielded. It appears that no one was immune to the efforts to intimidate anyone who wished to challenge the official position and speak the truth about what they had observed.

One evening in 1969, two years before he became governor of Georgia, Jimmy Carter reported sighting a strange object in the evening sky. He and about twenty others watched it for about ten to twelve minutes. Carter states: "all of a sudden, one of the men looked up and said, 'Look, over in the west!' And there was a bright light in the sky. We all saw it. And then the light, it got closer and closer to us. And then it stopped, I don’t know how far away, but it stopped beyond the pine trees. And all of a sudden it changed color to blue, and then it changed to red, then back to white. And we were trying to figure out what in the world it could be, and then it receded into the distance" Mr. Carter later filed a report with the International UFO Bureau. This incident had such a personal impact on Carter that during his 1979 election campaign, he told reporters that he would institute a policy of openness if he were elected to office, saying: "One thing's for sure, I'll never make fun of people who say they've seen unidentified objects in the sky. If I become President, I'll make every piece of information this country has about UFO sightings available to the public and the scientists."

"The Central Intelligence Agency Owns everyone of any significance in the major media." William Colby, Director of the Central Intelligence Agency.

It makes you scratch your head and say, "hummm." And Jimmah was the Commander in Chief and he didn't follow through on a campaign promise, or perhaps it slipped his mind. I once saw something in the night sky that defied any reasonable explanation and the incident is still indelibly etched in my memory. But then I am not a peanut farmer who has been briefed by the CIA. Perhaps we have been misled into thinking that the president of the U.S. of A. is the most powerful man in the world.

An Aside: Anyone besides me remember when Jimmy Carter ran for the presidency? No one outside of Georgia had ever heard of him and even his own party made use of the "Jimmy Who" label. He wore blue jeans, a flannel shirt and was a common man, just like you and me. But, he had the something none of the other candidates had, the support of the elite media and defeated the incumbent and heir to the Watergate fiasco, President Gerald Ford. The interesting thing that I remember is that once he was elected, his advisers, (see: handlers/puppet masters) quickly got him out of his comfortable "man of the people" clothes and put him in a suit and tie. Not only that but he was convinced by his advisers that he would photograph better if he were to start parting his hair on the other side of his head as if to say "not only do we know what you are supposed to do and say, we will tell you how to dress and comb your hair." I imagine that as he looked in the mirror and attempted his new hair style that he finally woke up the reality that "we are all bozos on this bus", and he was just the current driver. But I digress ......

But don't despair, change is a comin', I know because they told me so. Since the beginning of 2008 there have been no less than six very secret meetings conducted by a committee of the United Nations. How do I know that? The ubiquitous unnamed source who always manages to leak anything that the "Bigs" don't want us to know, of course. They are feeling the pressure from the public to stop the cover-up and let us know the truth about UFOs and ETs. They are supposed to have discussed who will make the announcement, how the countries should respond to the visitors and how to share the new technologies with all the countries of the world. There is rumored to be a general consensus that the United States should take the lead in the announcement, ( A perfect job for our alien President) but India and China have reservations about such a disclosure. The stumbling block seems to be power and control. Who could have guessed?
